| The Butterfly Garden
Return from the Azalea Garden to the Gazebo, and then proceed through the Gazebo and up the steps into the Butterfly Garden. Surrounded by a glossy abelia hedge, this area is planted in butterfly bushes, yarrow, milkweed, plumbago, and other plants which attract various native species of butterflies in the summer. At the top of the Butterfly Garden, where the entrance proper is located, are brick steps, sculptured friezes representing the four seasons, and the bronze sculpture of Hannah, a young girl balancing two butterflies on her fingers.
