When is Baxter Gardens Open?

The Gardens are open the entire month of April each year as part of Dogwood Arts Trails and Gardens.  During April, The Gardens open daily at 9:00 a.m. and close at dusk.  On May 1, The Gardens are closed and remain closed until the next April.

What does it cost to visit?

The Gardens are free to the public.

Where do I park?

Free on-site parking is available and clearly marked. Please respect the property and stay in designated parking areas only.

Are there restrooms?

There are no restroom facilities at Baxter Gardens

Is Baxter Gardens accessible for guests with limited mobility?

Due to the varying terrain with gravel paths and steps, only parts of the Gardens are wheelchair accessible.  However, several sections of the Gardens can be seen while driving along the mile-long driveway loop.

Is it okay to bring pets?

Due to the large number of people who visit the Gardens during these 30 days, pets are not allowed.

Is Baxter Gardens available for events?

The Gardens are a private residence and not available for event hosting.
